MEMBERSHIP IN THE NATIONAL EXPLOSIVE ORDNANCE DISPOSAL ASSOCIATION
The National Explosive Ordnance Disposal Association (NATEODA)
is fraternal organization of active duty, formerly active duty,
and retired military explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) professionals
of the US Army, US Navy, US Marine Corps, and US Air Force. The
purposes NATEODA are to: cherish the memories of our military service,
honor the memories of our fallen comrades-in-arms, preserve EOD
history, and to educate the public concerning military EOD service.
NATEODA is a non-profit organization that is non-partisan and will
not promote the candidacy of those seeking public office. The association
welcomes to its membership all qualified persons regardless of race,
religion, age, national origin, and gender. There are 3 classes
of membership in NATEODA:
Regular Membership:
Any person shall be eligible for regular membership in NATEODA
who has attended a recognized military EOD school, served honorably
in an explosive ordnance disposal capacity in any of the US armed
forces, and can provide evidence of honorable service. Also eligible
for regular membership are those persons who were assigned to regular
EOD duties without attending a recognized military EOD school, served
honorably in and EOD capacity in any of the US armed forces, and
can provide evidence of honorable service. Regular members are required
to pay dues, are allowed to vote at the annual convention, and receive
the "RSP" newsletter and other association mailings.
Associate Membership:
Any person, group, or organization (military or civilian) which
are part of the worldwide EOD family, who are not eligible for regular
NATEODA membership, may apply for associate membership. Associate
membership is contingent upon the recommendation of the membership
committee and approval by the executive committee. Associate members
are required to pay dues, do not vote, and receive the "RSP" newsletter
and other association mailings.
Corporate Membership:
The membership by businesses or corporations having ties to the
EOD field is permitted when it is felt to be mutually beneficial.

Life Membership:
Not offered at this time.
Those who are qualified and wish to join the National Explosive
Ordnance Disposal Association may download an application form from
the home page by clicking on the Application
Form.
Mailing instructions are included in the membership application.
The fees schedule for membership is as follows:
Regular and Associate Membership:
$15.00 for one year or $40.00 for 3 years. For active duty military
personnel in the Grade of E-5 or below, the fee is $10.00 for one
year or $25.00 for 3 years.
Corporate membership:
$100.00 per year which includes 3 individual memberships and two
free advertisements per year in the "RSP" newsletter.
